Angara 1.2 completes test flight

Rocket: Angara 1,2; Payload: Kosmos 2555; Date: 29 April 2022, 1755 UTC; Launch site: Plesetsk, Russia. The military satellite was placed into a 278 km × 293 km × 96.45 degrees Sun-synchronous orbit.

This was the second launch of the lightweight version of the Angara launch vehicle and the first launch of an Angara-1.2 with a satellite. The first launch of this rocket version took place on 9 July 2014.

Nothing is officially known about the satellite; however, Western observers speculate it could be a radar satellite.
