Thaicom selects Orbital, SpaceX for Thaicom 6
13 Jun 2011 - Thaicom Plc. has awarded Orbital Sciences Corporation a firm contract for the Thaicom 6 communications satellite. Based on Orbital's GEOStar-2 satellite platform, Thaicom 6 will be designed, manufactured and tested at Orbital's satellite manufacturing facility in Dulles, Virginia. The Thaicom 6 satellite is planned to be launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 in mid-2013. >>>
